In the heart of the Spa Park region of the Ammerland one can find the 14ha large “Park of the Gardens” on the terrain of the first garden show Lower-Saxony in 2002, which offers fascinating insights into gardening culture.
More than 90 unique theme gardens, plant selections and educational trails are waiting to be experienced and discovered.
The rhododendron population of the park is famous and unique in Europe, and accommodates over 2,000 different species amongst an old tree reservation. Especially in May and June, it reveals an unforgettable enchantment of blossoming.

The Park der Gärten can be reached from the metropolitan areas of Hamburg and Hanover, conveniently by the A28, and from the metropolitan areas of Osnabrück, Ostfriesland and the Netherlands via the A31 and A28 motorways.
From the interstate "Zwischenahner Meer" of the A28 (exit number 8), a signage system leads to the parking spaces of the park of the gardens directly north of the Bad Zwischenahn district Rostrup.
