The route to the nine play stations around the gardener's secret is about 53 kilometers long. The start is at the Wandelhalle in Bad Zwischenahn.

Cycle from Bad Zwischenahn on the node system via nodes 77, 72, 69, 66, 11, 30, 58, 60, 61, 63, 50, 52, 54 to the castle park in Rastede. Through the castle park, it goes on the spoke "Rastede" into the urban area of Oldenburg, where you pass through the typical Oldenburg residential areas Ofenerdiek and Bürgerfelder to reach the city center. In the city center, continue on the spoke "Woldsee" through the Haaren lowlands out of the city to Woldsee. From now on, you can follow the "Art and Culture City Oldenburg" tour to the town center of Bad Zwischenahn. The treasure chest is located at the back entrance of the Wandelhalle. "The gardener's secret" is an adventure route on the Ammerland node system and the spokes of the route around Oldenburg. At the various stations, puzzles and tasks must be solved to uncover a secret. To be able to uncover "The gardener's secret", you need materials from the explorer's box with notebook and map. The box is available for €24.00 at the tourist information offices in Bad Zwischenahn and Rastede and can be used multiple times and by any number of people. The box contains two solution cards that you can exchange for a small reward after successfully completing the tour. Additional solution cards can be purchased for players at a price of €2.50 each.
